Job Title: Microsoft CSP Partner Account Manager/Associate
Overview:
The Microsoft CSP Partner Account Manager/Associate will be responsible for managing the company’s Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partnership. This role requires expertise in Microsoft licensing, customer engagement, invoicing, and compliance to ensure a seamless experience for both end customers and internal teams. The individual will act as the primary liaison between the company, Microsoft, and end customers to facilitate licensing procurement, service delivery, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Microsoft CSP Partnership & Customer Engagement
- Serve as the primary contact between the company and Microsoft for CSP-related matters.
- Engage with end customers to provide guidance on Microsoft licensing options.
- Address customer queries related to Microsoft licenses, renewals, and modifications.
- Proactively inform customers about available promotions and cost-saving opportunities.
2. Licensing Procurement, Quotation, & Management
- Provide accurate and competitive quotes for Microsoft licenses.
- Process licensing orders, ensuring timely procurement and provisioning.
- Track and manage license expirations, renewals, and modifications.
- Keep up-to-date with Microsoft’s CSP licensing structures and pricing updates.
3. Microsoft Invoicing & Billing Operations
- Review, reconcile, and share Microsoft invoices with customers.
- Ensure accurate billing and address any discrepancies with Microsoft.
- Provide customers with transparent and clear invoicing breakdowns.
4. Compliance, Reporting, and Microsoft Liaison
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft CSP program requirements and best practices.
- Maintain reports on license allocations, customer usage, and billing details.
- Stay updated with changes in Microsoft’s CSP policies and inform relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Partner Center for smooth operations.
5. Delivery & Customer Success Management
- Oversee the implementation and onboarding of customers into Microsoft CSP services.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and support.
- Continuously optimize the customer’s Microsoft experience and prevent licensing issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft CSP program, licensing models, and partner ecosystem.
- Experience managing Microsoft Partner Centre and handling customer licensing needs.
- Ability to interpret Microsoft licensing agreements, discounts, and cost structures.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising between Microsoft, customers, and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to handle billing and invoicing queries.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and licensing transactions efficiently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics licensing structures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Microsoft CSP, LSP (Licensing Solution Provider), or managed services environment.
